Bands of Rock Mega-Fair!
For our lovely lady The New New Cancer!
Brendon woke up quietly and checked his e-mail. Their manager had sent him an e-mail that said: You are invited to participate in the Bands Of Rock Mega Music Fair. There will be bands such as fun., The Killers, Neon Trees, The Young Veins, Linkin Park, and our guests My Chemical Romance and Green Day. Your attendance is expected.
Brendon was overjoyed. He hadn't played a concert in a long time. Plus, most of his favorite bands were there. He picked up his phone and called Spencer. 3 tones later, he answered. "Ugh, Brendon, it's 7 am! What do you want?" "Well, for one, it is noon and you should be up by now, and we are gonna play in Bands Of The Desert 2012. Dude, this is gonna be rockin! Plus Jon and Ryan are gonna be there." Brendon said. Spencer blushed. Jon. He had an undying love for the bassist. "Sounds great! I can't wait! When is it?" Spencer said. "It is December 21st. In Vegas! Yay, I can't wait to go back home!!" Brendon said. "Awesome. I gotta go shower, dude. I stink." Spencer replied. "Bye, you better not stink at the concert!" Brendon said, hanging up. Brendon was happy at the prospect of seeing Ryan again. He had not seen him in almost 2 years. He missed him so much. They had broken up when the bands did, but only because the bands broke up. "Does Ryan still love me?" He thought sadly. He poured himself a coffee, ate some cereal, and waited for the concert.
2 months later..
Brendon threw his duffel bag in his car and was about to shut the trunk when Spencer came up behind him and tackled him. Spencer's strong arms gripped him as Brendon toppled over onto his car. "Hello!" Spencer said, smiling brightly. "Get off me! Gaah!" Brendon said, pawing at Spencer's face pitifully, struggling to get off his car. Spencer laughed and got off of him, revealing Dallon and Ian's smiling faces behind him. "We ready to go?" Dallon said, ruffling Brendon's hair. "Sure, but you didn't have to do that." Brendon said, fixing his hair. Dallon, Ian, and Spencer's cars were all parked up the street. "Meet me at the airport at 9:30." Brendon said, getting into his convertible. "Aw man, you told me we were driving!" Ian said, looking dissapointed. He had packed his tiny little car with all sorts of food. Everything from cheesecake to cheese balls was in a giant cooler that he had in the trunk. It took up the entire trunk, so his duffel bag of clothes was in the back seat. "Dammit Ian, I told you we were FLYING to Vegas over the phone." Dallon said, staring at Ian, dumbfounded. "Man, I was drunk. You know how I am after I get back from the bar!" Ian replied, throwing his hands up in the air. Brendon and Spencer looked at each other, and shook their heads dissaproovingly. Ian and Dallon continued arguing on their way back to their cars. "They are a handful.." Spencer said, walking to his car. "Did you at least remember that we are flying?" Brendon said. Spencer nodded, and continued off to his car. He was awfully quiet today. Brendon sighed and drove over to Starbucks. He got an iced mocha and a bagel, which he munched on his way to the airport.
At the airport, Brendon walked up to their gate, and looked around. Spencer was sitting in a chair, reading the news. "There you are!" Brendon said, walking up to him. "Any sign of Ian and the Dallster?" "Nope. Probably gorging themselves on the food in Ian's car.." Spencer said, turning a page. "That WOULD be like them," Brendon replied, sitting next to Spencer. Just then, Ian and Dallon came hurtling in, chasing each other, bags in hand. Dallon darted away from Ian, which held a bottle of water, open and splashing everywhere. Dallon's Pink Floyd shirt was partially wet on the shoulders, and his head was soaked. Brendon jolted up and took the bottle from Ian. He looked down with sad puppy eyes. "Your antics are out of control!" Brendon said, staring Ian in the eye. Dallon tried to quietly slink away, but Brendon caught him by the arm. "Don't think you are getting out of this, too.You guys need to knock it off. Seriously, you're 10 minutes late." Brendon yelled. "Sorry, MOM." Ian replied sarcastically. Dallon tried to stifle a giggle. "Man, give up. You can't stop them." Spencer said, putting his news-print down. "I guess you're right." Brendon sighed, letting go of Ian and Dallon's arms. They picked up their bags and sat down next to Spencer and said nothing. Brendon sat back down again in his spot, and read this month's issue of Cosmopolitan. "Dude, why are you reading that?" Spencer said, raising an eyebrow. "Flight 2B now boarding!" An announcer said over the intercom. "Doesn't matter, let's go!" Brendon said quickly, dashing off to the gate. Spencer followed, being closely followed by Ian and Dallon, which were having a staring contest while walking. Ian laughed and broke his gaze, causing Dallon to fist-pump and yell "Yeah! I win again!" Dallon crashed into a blonde flight attendant, which merely stared at him and moved on. Brendon face-palmed and kept on walking. Their seats were right across the aisle from each other, and Dallon and Ian had a quarry over who got the window seat. Dallon eventually arm-wrestled Ian out of it, and Ian sat sadly in the aisle seat. Brendon got the window-seat in their row, and merely fell asleep on the spot. Meanwhile, Ian and Dallon were playing Tic Tac Toe on a napkin. Spencer smiled, and took a picture of Brendon sleeping with his mouth open on the plane, and posted it on his twitter. "3 in a row, I win again!" Dallon said, putting a line through a diagonal row of X's. "You always win!" Moaned Ian, crossing his arms. "But you always win at losing!" Dallon replied, ruffling Ian's brown curls. Ian frowned, and fell asleep turned away from Dallon. Dallon frowned, and fell asleep himself, turned away from Ian. Spencer giggled at the sight of this, and fell asleep.
When the plane landed, They all yawned and got up. Brendon stretched, and his outward stretching arm hit a man with a black mohawk, and otherwise the rest of his head shaved. "Agh!" The man moaned, and looked at Brendon like he had three heads. "Sorry!" Brendon said. "Oh, it's okay. I'm Tyler. I'm here for the rock fair!" The man said. "Oh, us too! Which band do you play in? I'm in Panic! At The Disco!" Brendon replied, smiling. "I'm in Neon Trees! And what was your name?" Tyler Glenn replied, smiling back. "THE Neon Trees? I love you guys! And Brendon." Brendon said happily. "Oh, thanks! Well, I'll see you at the banquet!" Tyler replied, waving. "Wait, what banquet?" Brendon said, raising an eyebrow. "Oh, there is this banquet for the bands playing in the concert tonight. They figure, 'The concert is tomorrow, let's get the bands drunk and stuffed with food'! Not great logic, but I'm not the one to turn down food.." Tyler explained. "OK thanks! Bye!" Brendon said, waving. They all walked off the plane, and went to the Rent-A-Car center. They rented a red van with black flames on the side. A rather peculiar thing to have, but Dallon really liked it. They drove off, and went to their hotel.
At the hotel, they entered their room and gasped. They got a luxury suite with a view of The Stratosphere, a full kitchen, gigantic bathroom, and two rooms with two queen-size beds in each. Dallon and Ian shared a room, because they were inseperable, and because Brendon knew that they were just gonna sneak over to each other's room to watch Looney Toons or something if they weren't together. "It's like they are 10 or something!" Brendon said to Spencer, closing the door that seperated the two rooms. "They are just having fun, bro. Lay off." Spencer said, flopping on his bed and tweeting something. "Fine then!" Brendon said, turning on the TV. He flipped through the channels lazily, and conceited to throwing the remote and turning off the TV. There was a knock at the door. Spencer answered it, and seemed stunned when he saw who it was. Jon Walker and Ryan Ross stood there, smiling. Ryan was wearing a white dress-shirt and a plaid scarf, and pink capris. Jon was wearing a grey shirt and black jeans. "Damn." Spencer thought. "They had not changed a bit.." "Uh, hello?" Jon said, looking at Spencer, his brown eyes trying to read Spencer's face. Spencer blushed and said "Oh, hey! Brendon is laying down right now, and Ian and Dallon are doing God knows what. They are really being immature right now." "No problem!" Said Ryan, hugging Spencer. "I missed you, man." "Me too!"Spencer said, hugging back. When they broke apart, Ryan said "C'mon Jon, hug Spencer! He's warm and cuddly!" Jon blushed and said quietly, "I'm good." "Well, then.." Ryan said suspiciously. He then moved over to Brendon's bed, where he lay silently, snoring softly. Ryan brushed his black hair away from his face, and his chocolate brown eyes opened, and met Ryan's golden ones."Hey, Sleeping Beauty! How are you?" Ryan whispered seductively. "Ryan..Why are you here?" Brendon yawned. "I'm playing the concert too!" Ryan said quietly. "Oh..Okay" Brendon said shyly. He still held a burning passion for the girly man, even after all this time. Little did Brendon know, so did Ryan. Brendon got up, and sat on his bed, bouncing a little. Ryan sat next to him, and smiled at him. "We got the room next door. On the other side of you is My Chemical Romance, on the other side of us is Green Day, and across the hall is Neon Trees, Linkin Park, and Imagine Dragons. A little down the hall is fun. and The Killers. They apparently put us all in one hall,so we can all interact and stuff." Ryan continued. "WOW. I can't believe that we all made it!" Brendon said. Ian and Dallon walked in, hair ruffled every direction, and clothes on crooked. "We ordered room service. Hi Jon and Ryan!" Dallon said. "What happened in there? You guys look terrible!" Ryan said, dashing over and trying to fix their hair, as he so often did. "Uh..We had a pillow-fight!" Ian replied, swatting Ryan away. "Sounds like them.." Brendon said sarcastically. "I said lay off, Brendon!" Spencer said, turning away from the fridge, which Ian had filled with an menagerie of food and drink. "Okay, how was your pillow-fight?" Brendon said, smiling a little. "Fun." Dallon and Ian said in unison. "Speaking of fun., they are right down the hall! They put all of us in one hallway, so that we can talk." Ryan said. "Awesome!" Spencer said, eating a taco that he just finished making. "We need to get ready for the banquet. It is on in an hour in Gala Room 2." Brendon said, taking his shirt off to change. Ryan blushed at this and turned away. Jon and Ryan left silently.
About an hour later, Brendon was wandering the crowded banquet alone, looking for his friends. "Jon?" He shouted at a guy with brown hair, a beard, and curious brown eyes. "I'm not Jon.." he replied softly. "Oh, sorry I was looking for my friend. Uhh,what's your name?" Brendon said awkwardly. "Mike Shinoda.." Mike replied, barely more than a whisper. "Oh, you don't talk much, do you, Mike?" Brendon replied. "Nope," Mike replied, and walked off. Brendon edged away awkwardly, and continued looking. He found Spencer loading up at the food table with Ryan, and Jon drinking a beer in a chair next to the door. "Now that we're all here, what do we do?" Brendon said, eating a cannoli that Spencer gave him. "I dunno, just walk around?" Ryan replied, mouth full of cupcake. "Well, for one, can you guys stop eating? Really, and swallow your food before you talk. It's impolite." Brendon replied. "I don't blame them, it's killer food!" said a female voice behind them. Brendon turned around to find a woman with choppy fire-red hair, pale skin, and pretty eyes. "Hey Hayley! Nice to see you again! I didn't know Paramore was playing!" Brendon replied, hugging Hayley. "Yep! I see you guys threw together the old crew! It's been so long.." Hayley replied, covering a strawberry in chocolate, and proceeding to wrap it in bacon and eat it. "We did miss each other!" Jon said, giving Spencer a noogie. Spencer pawed at his face playfully, and then just lay there on his lap, like a large kitten. Hayley raised an eyebrow, and said "I see. Well, see you tomorrow!" Hayley said, dashing off to find more food. Brendon stared at the bizarre sight, and went to go make one of Hayley's bacon-covered chocolate strawberries. He finally finished wrapping it in bacon, and he was about to eat it when he realized that it was gone right from his hand. Ryan sat there next to him, munching innocently on said strawberry, and giving Brendon the puppy dog eyes. Brendon fluffed up his hair, and frowned at him playfully. Little did they know, Pete Wentz and Patrick Stump just stared at them. They looked at each other, and said "What are you doing?" in unison. "Meow!" Spencer said, looking up from Jon's lap. "Are you high or something?" Pete replied, still staring. "No, just silly, tired, and hungry." Spencer replied, getting up to get himself some fried chicken. Ryan had now eaten two of Brendon's strawberries, and Brendon just gave up. Ryan bounced off his chair and took Patrick's hat,and dashed off with it. "NO YOU DON'T!" Patrick yelled, bounding after Ryan. "Anyway, since you are the only sane one here, how are you?" Pete said, rolling his eyes. "I'm great, thanks. You?" Brendon replied. Spencer returned and sat down, viciously ripping at a piece of chicken with his teeth. "I'm so scared, we are playing first!" Pete said nervously. "You have been playing for this long, and you are still scared to play?" Brendon said. "Yeah..I guess. I mean, we haven't done a concert in so long, since our hiatus.." Pete replied, nervously fixing his fedora. Just then, Patrick came back, hat back on his head and Ryan in his arms, wriggling to get free. Ryan was only about 90 lbs, so this was no feat. Ryan was squealing, yelling "Let me go! Aaah!" and slapping Patrick in the face, but he just stared angrily at him and dropped him at Brendon's feet. "I believe this is yours!" Patrick said brightly. Brendon laughed, and helped Ryan back onto his feet. Ryan glared at Patrick, and dramatically sat down in a huff. Spencer threw a cheese ball into Ryan's mouth, and he caught it flawlessly. He then threw a cheese ball at Jon, who also caught it. They all grabbed a bag of cheese balls and continued throwing cheese balls into each other's mouth, and giggling whenever they caught one. Brendon then realized that nobody had seen Dallon or Ian at the banquet. "I'm gonna go look for Ian and Dallon. They probably are sitting in a bathroom stall, making fart noises." Brendon said. He walked away from the cloud of flying cheese balls and trotted off to look for them.
Ian and Dallon were found trying to get into the ladies room, but being forced away by a guard. "What the HELL are you doing?" Brendon said angrily. "We decided to go where no man has gone before!" Dallon said, glazed eyes staring at the guard angrily. "You guys are high. I can smell it. Go back to the room." Brendon said, sniffing them. He handed them a room key, and Ian handed it back. "We don't need your credit card, man. I can pay." Ian said, pulling out a wallet full of monopoly money. "You two are hopeless. I'll take you back myself." Brendon said. "Naw, let's go skiing! The hotel has a ski..." Dallon said, dazed. "Sorry about them. I'll do the rest." Brendon said to the guard, giving him a 10 dollar bill and taking Ian and Dallon by the hand. When they got to the room, Brendon threw them into their room and locked the door. Ian spun in spirals, and Dallon started singing Bohemian Rhapsody to himself, and Ian joined in half-heartedly. Then, out of nowhere, they started making out. Brendon did not see any of this, as he was already making his way to the banquet. When he returned, Spencer had dissapeared, as had Jon, and Pete and Patrick were talking to two men with black hair and gold eyes, and one had a hat. "Hey Pete! I'm back. I had to take Ian and Dallon back to their room. They were high as a kite." Brendon said. "Hey, I'm Gerard and this is Mikey!" The man on the left without the hat said. "Nice to meet you! My Chem is one of my favorites! I love you guys!" Brendon said, smiling at Gerard. "Where is Frank and Ray?" Brendon continued. "Oh, they are loading up on food. I told Frank to bring me back a hot dog, but I think he ate it already." Gerard replied. Frank handed Gerard a half-eaten hot dog and flopped down in a chair. He let out a loud moan, and started snoring. "You want it?" Gerard said to Mikey, frowning at the hot dog. "Naw. But I have an idea.." Mikey replied, taking the hot dog from Gerard. He carefully placed the hot dog in Frank's open mouth, making sure not to wake him. They all giggled quietly as Ray got back, and cackled softly at it. Pete and Patrick left, saying that they had to "practice and tune our instruments". Nobody believed them, because they were clearly sleepy from stuffing themselves silly with food. Gerard, Mikey, and Ray decided to leave too, leaving Frank alone in a chair, snores being muffled from the now-cold hot dog. "I guess it is just you and me now.." Ryan said "And Frankie here.." Brendon said. He looked across the room. There was only one other group of people still there, and it was Green Day and The Killers discussing their favorite city to tour in by the cheesecake. Brendon walked over to talk to them, but not without accidentally hitting Frank in face. Frank jolted up, and the hot dog flew down his throat. Brendon stared in horror as Frank lay there, clutching his throat, making soft sucking noises. In a flurry of black fluffy hair, Billie Joe Armstrong flew over and started performing CPR on Frank. The hot dog came flying out, and hit Brandon Flowers in the face, making him vomit in a nearby trash can. Billie was breathing air into Frank's lungs, but he wasn't waking up. He checked his pulse and breathing, and as both were lower than usual, he assumed Frank was in a coma. "Wow, Billie, that was amazing!" Brendon said, stunned. "How did you even see him?" "I dunno. I just looked over at him and.." Billie said, looking at his feet. Billie and Frank had held up a secret romance while they toured together. "Looks like Mr. American Idiot saved the day again.." Said Tre' Cool, sauntering over. "I'll say.." Mike Dirnt said, following. "Dude, he saved Frank's life. That is really noble, so don't treat it like it is just some small thing!" Ryan said, standing up. "Is our little pretty boy defending poor Fwankie?" Tre' said, taking a step closer to Ryan."Yes, I am. He is my friend, and you shouldn't treat him like that. I don't like it." Ryan said, taking a step towards Tre' "Respect your elders, Ry-Ry." Tre' continued. SMACK! Tre' shot backwards as Ryan punched him in the face. Tre' looked up angrily, and came in to punch Ryan, but Brendon jumped in the way. "STOP IT! BOTH OF YOU!" Brendon said, taking the punch for Ryan. Mike restrained Tre' and Brendon took Ryan away from them. "He's twice your size! What were you doing?" Brendon hissed at Ryan. "I won't let you get hurt, ever, so promise me to never start a fight again." Brendon continued, his tone softer than before. "Okay, and thanks for taking that punch for me. " Ryan said, hugging Brendon. "What just happened?" Said Frank, who had just been woken up from being stepped on a few times. "Well, you choked on a hot dog, I saved you, and Tre' and Ryan started a fight." Billie stated. "Wow..Thank you..You saved my life.." Frank said, speechless. "I-I guess I kind of did.." Billie said. "Wait-I don't remember eating a hot dog..How did I choke on a hot dog I didn't eat...?" Frank said, confused. "Mikey put a half-eaten hot dog in your mouth. Looked pretty funny while it lasted." Brendon stated. "I'm gonna kill him! Raagh!" Frank said, dashing out of the room to confront Mikey. "We better go before anyone else gets impendingly close to death." Brendon said, escorting Ryan out. "You're right! I would've beat that pansy within an inch of his life if you hadn't interfered!" Tre' yelled at Brendon. "Shut it, Tre' Cool.." Brendon said, exiting the room.
Brendon arrived at the door of his suite, and knocked. A muffled yell of "Don't come in! I'm naked!" came from Spencer inside. Jon exited the room nervously, not saying a word. "This was bizarre" Brendon thought to himself. "Jon exiting the room, Spencer mysteriously naked.. It couldn't be." Brendon thought, but just then Spencer answered the door. He was in a tank top and blue plaid flannel pants. "Boy, that escalated quickly.." Brendon said trying to walk in, but Spencer stopped him. "What happened to your face?" Spencer said, tracing the large rounded square bruise on his jaw. "Ryan got into a fight with Tre' Cool. I jumped in." Brendon stated. "Is it really that noticable?" "Yeah, I would have to be blind!" Spencer said, concerned. "Good thing we have makeup for this kind of thing!" Brendon said, remembering his makeup assistant. "It'll need a LOT of makeup, no doubt." Spencer sighed. Brendon walked into the bathroom, and looked in the mirror. A large bluish purple bruise was by his right cheekbone. He rubbed it, and it had an aching pain. He looked terrible. They were playing tomorrow. Brendon left, refusing to look at the injury any longer. Ian and Dallon had just entered, rather messy looking, and had an interesting walk to them. "Hay Guise!" Dallon said, sitting down on Brendon's perfectly made bed. A look through the door revealed that Dallon's bed was absolutely torn apart, blankets wrinkled and crumpled in a corner, sheets half on, pillows everywhere. "Whoa, what happened in there?" Brendon said, jumping back a little. "We wrestled." Ian said quickly. "Why is everyone so suspicious?" Brendon thought. "That explains it. It's late, we should go to bed." Spencer said. "Okay, G'night Dallon! G'night Ian!" "Good Night, Brendon!" They said in unison, leaving. Spencer jumped under his already messed up sheets, and fell asleep immediately, hugging a pillow, and sniffing it heavily. This was bizarre, but Brendon fell asleep all the same.
It only felt like five minutes before Brendon heard a quiet knock at the door. He yawned, and got up grudgingly. He answered the door, and Ryan was there, in red flannel pajamas and looking wide awake. "I couldn't sleep." Ryan whispered, making sure not to wake up Spencer. "I could, but I'll stay up with you. How about we take a walk on the roof?" Brendon whispered back. "Sure!" Ryan whispered. They walked down the hall, soft slippered feet making hardly a noise. When they reached the roof balcony, the soft wind gently tousled their hair, making their pajamas wave gracefully in the wind. "Why couldn't you sleep?" Brendon said. "I-I just couldn't sleep thinking of how you saved my today. I can't believe..that you would stil protect me after the band broke up." Ryan said nervously. "Ryan, I will protect you no matter what, you know that. You are my best friend, no, more than that." Brendon said. "I..still love you, Ryan." "After all this time?" Ryan whispered softly. "Always." Brendon said, kissing him softly on the lips. They held this particular kiss very long. When they finally broke apart, they both blushed and continued kissing. Ryan bit Brendon's lip, and Brendon moaned passionately. Brendon and Ryan just sat there, kissing and moaning as they explored each other's mouths. They broke apart, panting and breathing deeply. Brendon took off his shirt, and Ryan stared, his pants tight with pleasure. Brendon stared at Ryan intensely, smiling and jumped on top of Ryan. Ryan bucked his hips with passion. Brendon slowly slid off Ryan's shirt, their bare skin pressing against each other. They continued making out like this, and nobody bothered them. Brendon broke apart from this frantic session, checking his phone. It said 5:30 am. Brendon turned around, and looked at the skyline. A large white ball of golden warmth sat on the grey-silver mountians, and slowly creeped up them, illuminating the violet sky. Ryan rest his head on Brendon's shoulder, and they sat there, enjoying each other's warm bodies mingling on the cold roof. They got up, and walked off the balcony silently, and Brendon swatted Ryan's butt playfully. Ryan giggled, and they took their places in their rooms before anyone woke up.
Spencer yawned, and rubbed his eyes. The room slowly came into focus, and his stomach growled. He scuffled his way to the fridge in his lego slippers. He looked dazedly, and pulled out an entire ham. He cut off a few slices for himself, and sat down at the bar, munching on the slightly wet ham and thinking about Jon. Dallon entered the room quietly, grabbing a pint of pistachio ice cream from the freezer. He went to grab a spoon, and saw Spencer sitting there with his ham. "You're not normally up this early!" Dallon said, digging the spoon into the container. He pulled a big mint-green spoonful out and shoved it in his mouth. "Munchies?" Dallon asked. "Yup. Why else do you think I would be up at 6 am eating ham alone?" Spencer said. "Good point. I'm always up this early because of munchies, so if you ever need someone to nosh down some food with at the crack of dawn, you know who to call!" Dallon said brightly. Spencer chewed on some more ham, and said "You want some?" showing a piece to Dallon. Dallon ate it right out of his hand. Spencer laughed and petted Dallon's hair. "Moo!" Dallon said. "Silly Dallon, Cows don't eat ham!" Spencer said, laughing. Ian walked into the kitchen, and somehow managed to slip on a banana peel. This made Dallon fall over in a fit of loud laughter. Ian was laughing too, but rubbed his brown curls and continued on. Brendon walked into the kitchen to the sound of raucous laughter, and got a pan. He cracked an egg in a bowl, and whisked it quickly, turning the egg into a yellow slightly foamy liquid. He poured it into the pan, and left it there, the heat of the stove cooking it into a flat pancake. Everyone was now up, so they started getting ready.
An hour later, they were all backstage, in makeup and hair. Brendon's makeup artist, a fussy blonde girl, was dabbing foundation onto his bruise until it dissapeared. "All ready, Mr. Urie!" She said. "Thanks Veronica. You're a life-saver." Brendon replied. Veronica blushed and packed up her bags. Brendon walked into Spencer's studio, and was shocked at what he saw. Spencer was standing in a corner with Jon, making out. "Sick!" Brendon said, walking out. He knew it; he knew something was going on between them! He walked into Ian's dressing room, only to find that Dallon was swapping spit with him too! "Dammit!" Brendon said, storming out. That wasn't unexpected, but still a bit of a suprise. Brendon finally walked into Ryan's dressing room, and sat down in the vacant chair next to him. "Well, I had two big suprises in the last 30 seconds." Brendon said, rubbing his temples. "What?" Ryan said curiously. "I found not only Ian and Dallon making out, but Jon and Spencer were too! How did I not guess?" Brendon continued. "Oh my god, are you serious?" Ryan said, genuinely stunned. "Yup." Brendon sighed. "Don't let it bother you too much. Keep focused on the music, babe." Ryan said, kissing Brendon on the cheek that didn't have so much makeup. Brendon kissed Ryan on the head, and went to go see if their equipment was ready. They were going second, so there was little time. Brendon walked up to a scrawny man in a suit holding a clipboard. "Is our equipment set up yet, Mr. Finch?" Brendon asked, looking around. He was in a warehouse full of instruments, Drums, guitars, basses, microphones, keyboards, and even two pianos were scattered all around. He located Dallon's orange bass, Spencer's drums, and Ian's and his own guitar. He found his favorite microphone set aside, too. "Yes, they are all here!" Said Mr. Finch in a nasally voice. Brendon personally didn't really like Mr. Finch because of his horrible voice, but he trusted him with thousands of dollars worth of instruments,so he had to be nice to him. "Okay, thanks!" Brendon said, waving at him as he walked away.
The band had gathered backstage in front of Brendon's dressing room, waiting for him to come out. "There you are!" Spencer said as Brendon walked back. "All our instruments are here and ready to go, no pun intended!" Brendon said, laughing. "Sweet!" Dallon said, ajusting his tie in his reflection in a nearby puddle. "I hope they didn't forget my guitar this time.." Ian said. Last show they played, it took them a whole half hour to find a guitar for Ian to play, as Mr. Finch had forgotten it in China. He almost got fired for that. "They have your guitar, Ian, don't worry." Brendon assured. "Dude, I hear Fall Out Boy coming out!" Spencer said. A loud roar from behind them said he was right. Brendon peeked his head around the stage, and Patrick, Pete, and the rest of them had walked on the stage, waving at all their fans. "Good Morning, Las Vegas! How are you!" Pete yelled. A loud scream answered him. "Awesome! Let's GO!!!" Patrick yelled into his microphone. They started playing "Dance, Dance" and Brendon looked at all of them. Spencer looked like he was about to wet himself, Dallon was sweating up a storm, and Ian was shaking. "Dudes, calm down. It's fine. Nothing bad will happen. Spencer, you can dodge anything they throw at you, Dallon, you jump around the stage already, they can't get you if they try, and Ian, Same as Dallon, nothing will get you. "It's not us we're worried about, it's you.." Dallon said, obviously worried. "That's nice of you, but I won't get hit this time. You should have seen the fans when I got bottled; they wanted to literally KILL the guy who threw it. Plus they have a "No Glass Allowed" rule now. Trust me, I'm gonna be fine." Brendon assured them. They all simultanioulsy hugged Brendon, and Brendon was wrapped tightly in a mass of arms. "Awh! Thanks!" Brendon said, hugging them all back. They all broke apart, and smiled. Spencer looked calm, Dallon had stopped sweating, and Ian was still. "That did the trick, didn't it?" Brendon said, smiling sweetly. They all got up, and went back to the instruments room. Mr. Finch showed them to their instruments, and they were delighted. Spencer had his favorite drums, and did a small solo on them to test them, smiling brightly. Dallon was overjoyed at the sight of his favorite orange bass, which he played softly. Ian had a beautiful mahogany acoustic guitar, and Brendon had a crisp pine one. They all played a little on their instruments, increasingly large smiles all around. Dallon actually hugged his bass and said, "I missed you" and kissed it. This made Brendon laugh, and he hugged his favorite guitar too. "You know what, I love you guys.." Spencer said, looking at all of them with their instruments. "Not just Jon then!" Brendon said, and everyone laughed, except Spencer, who blushed and quietly said "Hey! Not cool!" "You're on stage in 5, Brendon!" Said Mr. Finch, craning his scrawny neck in the room. "What??" Brendon said, confused. Then he remembered; he was playing 20 Dollar Nosebleed with them as a treat to the fans. Brendon dashed off, and went into his dressing room. Ryan was standing there in the middle of the room. "Hey, Brendy-boy!" Ryan said in a fake seductive voice. "Oh you," Brendon said, kissing Ryan. Ryan grabbed Brendon's tie, and pulled him closer. " I missed you.." Ryan whispered in Brendon's ear. Ryan then started making out with Brendon. After about two minutes, they broke apart. "I'm going on with Patrick in 3 minutes, Got to go, Ry-baby!" Brendon said, straightening his tie, re-tucking in his shirt that Ryan had untucked, and brushing back his hair. He kissed Ryan on the cheek, and left his room.
Brendon was behind the stage panel, waiting for his queue. They started playing 20 Dollar Nosebleed, and someone passing gave him a connected microphone and said "Go get 'em, tiger," to him. He looked behind him, and it was Jon, smiling back at him. "Who wil I be when I wake up next to a stra-a-a-anger? On a passenger pla-a-a-ne? Passenger Plane?" Patrick sang from on stage, and Brendon jumped on stage, to loud screams of the fans, and sang "Oh permanant jet lag, please take me ba-a-ack! Please take me ba-a-a-ack" Patrick smiled at Brendon and Brendon walked right next to him. "I'm a stray dog, sick! Please let me i-i-i-n, The mad keys tr-i-ippin, singing vows before exchange smoke rings!" Brendon continued to sing with a smile. They both continued singing, to loud screams of the crowd. "Hey, It's Brendon from Panic! At The Disco, and we are next!" Brendon said at the end of the song. The fans cheered and clapped. Brendon walked back off stage, and grabbed a water from a nearby cooler. He downed it in a few seconds. Spencer was waiting for him,as was Dallon and Ian, smiling. "You have done well, young grasshopper." Spencer said. They all laughed loudly, and the members of fun. walked up behind them. "Hey Brendon!" Nate said, patting him on the back. "You were rockin, bro!" "Oh yeah! I loved it!" Jack said. "We're on after you, how about we do C'mon?" Nate suggested. "Sounds great!" Andrew said. The guys walked off to go check on their gear. "Panic! You guys are on in 5 minutes!" Mr. Finch yelled from the instrument room. "Sweet!" Spencer squealed. Their instruments were already being carried on to the side of the stage, being placed for further moving. Patrick, Pete and the rest of their band walked off the stage, and the instruments crew gave them all their instruments, and pushed Spencer's drums on stage. "Hello Vegas! It's awesome to be home! I love it here!"Brendon said happily. His fans screamed louder than anything he had ever heard. "Let's start it off with We're So Starving!" Brendon said. They sang it beautifully, better than they ever had before. They sang all of their songs like a choir of angels singing down from heaven. When they finally finished the last song, they walked off the stage to raucous applause, screaming, cheering, and about 3 dozen pairs of panties flying on the stage. Dallon ran out, and collected all the panties, and the crowd was swoon. "Giggity Giggity Goo! Look at these!" Dallon said, holding up a black lace thong to show to Spencer. "What can I say, they love us!" Spencer said. Dallon threw all the panties in a plastic bag and sealed them. He had collected every pair of panties that had been thrown at them since his very first show with them. He had about a thousand pairs. Brendon thought it was a little creepy, but he still tolerated it. fun. was now on stage, playing "Some Nights" with all their heart and soul. Brendon drank another five waters, and went back to his dressing room to change. Once he had changed into a yellow Super Mario shirt, a black vest, and jeans. He walked out of his changing room to go see where fun. was in their performance. He straightened his glasses, and peeked out onto the stage. They had just finished "Out On The Town" , so "C'mon" was about to start. He picked up his mic, and the fans screamed again. "It's getting late, and I, cannot seem to find my way home tonight, It feels like I been falling down a rabbit hole, falling for forever, wonderfully wandering alone. What would my head be light, if not for my shoulders or without your smile, may it follow you forever, to never leave you to sleep in the stone, may we stay lost on our wa-a-ay home, C'mon, C'mon, with everything falling down around me, I'd like to believe in all the possibilitie-e-e-es!" Brendon sang gorgeously. "If I should die tonight, I'll be the first to say "I'm sorry" For I, never felt like anybody, I am a man of many hats, although I never mastered anything. When I am ten feet tall, I've never been much smaller, since the fall, nobody knows my name, so don't leave me to sleep all alone, May we stay lost on our way home?" Nate sang beautifully, matching Brendon's sweet tone. They continued singing the song like this, and the fans were literally crying with joy. "Thank you!" Brendon said. The fans were cheering, and then they started chanting "HUG! HUG! HUG!" "Oh, all right!" Brendon said, and hugged Nate. A deafening roar rose from the crowd. "Thank you! Thank you!" Nate said, waving at the crowd as Brendon trotted off-stage. Brendon downed two waters and went back to his dressing room. All of the band was waiting there, sitting around a plastic table with a yellow cloth on it, a gorgeous cake in the middle of the table. The square cake had four little fondant people on it, and said "Great Concert, Panic! " in blue buttercream letters. A closer look at the fondant people revealed that it was the band, their likenesses copied into cute little edible men. "Mr. Finch sent it over. He thought this was our best concert of all time!" Dallon said, smiling at Brendon. "Aww! I love it! I look so cute!" Brendon said, taking a closer look at the figure with the black fondant glasses. He was wearing the exact outfit he wore today, and everything. The figure was holding a tiny black microphone. "Let's dig in!" Spencer said, plucking his figure off and laying it on a corner piece of cake. "Dangit Spencer, I wanted the corner!" Ian whined, but he cut himself the piece next to it. "I love you guys. Really. I hope I never have to stop making music with you. Never ever ever will I stop." Brendon said. For the second time today, they all hugged and smiled at each other. "This is true friendship." Brendon thought. Ryan and Jon walked into Brendon's changing room. "Look what we got!" Jon said happily. "We got one too! Awesome!" Ian said, admiring the tiny fondant Jon that was sitting atop his half-eaten piece of cake. Everything was perfect. "I love mine.." Ryan said, looking at his figure. "I do too!" Brendon said. "It looks just like you!" "Thanks, Brenny-Bear." Ryan replied smugly. Jon took Ryan's and Brendon's dolls, and pressed it's face against the fondant of his, so it looked like they were kissing. "Now it really does!" Jon replied evilly. Everyone laughed, and Brendon and Ryan kissed. "I'm gonna miss you, Ryasaurus." Brendon said. "I will too. But we can still call each other." Ryan said sadly. "Don't be like that! I will always be there. Always." Brendon said. Everyone in the room tried to ignore this sad exchanging of words, but it was hard, as both of them were crying. Suddenly, everyone in the room was crying, even Ian and Dallon, as they hardly had time to see each other anymore. "How about for our new album, we record a song together?" Brendon said weakly, tears still streaming down his cheeks. "I'd like that.." Ryan said, hugging Brendon strongly. They held each other like this for a long time. Brendon looked around sadly. Spencer had his head on Jon's shoulder, holding hands and wiping away each other's tears, Dallon and Ian were playing tic-tac-toe on a napkin, but it was no use, as their tears fell too fast on the napkin,so nobody was winning. "Oh, Memories, where'd you go, you're all I ever known, how I miss yesterday, but I let it fade away.." Brendon half sang, half sobbed. It was still beautifully depressing. "What are we doing?" Spencer said. "We are in Vegas! We should be having fun, not sitting around crying and eating cake!" "You're right!" Said Jon, standing up strongly. For the rest of the day, they went ice skating,With much trouble,as none of them can skate, and finally resorted to going up to the balcony to watch the sunset. "I missed you, Vegas. All the memories, the times had in the past..Ah.." Spencer said. They all tried not to cry when he said this, but it was hard. They just sat there, like old times, telling jokes and laughing until they cry. Once the sun had set, they went back to their rooms to sleep.
In the morning, Brendon had packed his bags, and was about to board his plane, when Ryan came and stopped him. "I love you, Brendon." Ryan said, tears streaming down his face. "I love you too, Ryan." Brendon said, hugging Ryan. They kissed one last time, and Brendon boarded his plane sadly. On his way to his seat, he quietly sang, "It was always you, falling for me, now there is always time, calling for me. I'm the light, blinking at the end of the road, blink back to let me know.." Brendon sat in his seat next to Spencer, his eyes red, his cheeks wet with tears. "I know it hurts, but we'll see them again soon.." Spencer said. "I hope so.." Brendon said.
EPILOUGE:
Brendon and Ryan never released the song, in fear that their secret would come out, but they still visited each other as often as they could. I hope you enjoyed my story as much as I enjoyed writing it.
